Echo Maldoonga Point, Matheran

Echo point is one of the most visited point in Matheran as it is near to Charlotte lake. However the point is basic but much hyped. There is a deep valley on one side and a ravine which may reflect the sound but it does not echo as much. The point is good and has plenty of stalls. he point is barricaded. Maldoonga or Maldunga is also one of the point close to Echo point. Once can see numerous waterfalls from Maldunga. One can club the two points together.

Echo point is nested on the valley from both side. It is mostly shrouded in mist and fog during monsoon. However this point is much crowded and highly commercialized like Charlotte Lake.
